Graduation (Absolvent)
Who this is for: directors · Where: Classes & parallels → Graduate class, offered for classes in a terminal grade.
What this page is for
Grades 4, 9 and 12 finish a level. Graduating marks that formally, labels the class, and moves its pupils off the active roster without deleting anything.
The wizard
1. Pick the grade
Only terminal grades are offered.
2. Review each pupil
Every pupil gets a recommendation you can change:
| Outcome | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Graduate | Finished the level |
| Repeat | Stays behind to redo the year |
| Defer | Decision postponed |
| Skip | Not part of this graduation |
The wizard shows what it based each recommendation on — the pupil's average, any failing subjects, whether they have a support plan, and whether they are still actively enrolled.
A pupil with no marks at all is proposed as deferred rather than graduated, because there is no evidence to graduate them on. Change any of them.
3. Confirm
You tick an explicit confirmation before anything is written.
The Absolvent label
A graduated class is labelled with its level, grade, parallel and year — for example Absolvent Liceu 12 A 2025-2026 — in the school's language.
BAC status (liceu)
For grade 12 you can record pending, passed or failed per pupil, after graduation, from the pupils list. The homeroom teacher of that class can also set it.
What changes for a graduated pupil
- They leave the active roster, so they no longer appear in class lists
- Their Homework and Exams tabs are hidden from parents — those describe ongoing work that no longer exists for them
- Everything else stays: marks, report card, documents, analytics, achievements
- Parents keep their access. The link is not revoked
No record is removed. A transcript can still be generated for a graduated pupil, and their parent can still open their profile.
Rules and limits
- Only terminal grades (4, 9, 12) can be graduated.
- "Repeat" keeps the pupil active but does not automatically create next year's class for them — place them yourself.
- A graduated class is hidden from the default list; see Archived classes.
- Graduation can be undone, unless a pupil has since enrolled elsewhere.
Troubleshooting
"Graduate class is not offered." The class is not in a terminal grade.
"The class disappeared." Graduated classes are hidden by default — use the Graduated filter.
"A parent says tabs are missing." Expected — see above. Nothing was deleted.
"I graduated the wrong class." Undo it from the same screen, or restore it.
