Pupil setup checklist

There are only two things to do: make an account, and join your class with the code your homeroom teacher gives you.
Each screenshot has a ring or an arrow showing where to click. There is no text in the images, so they look the same in every language.
Before you start: get the code
Ask your homeroom teacher (diriginte) for the class code. Nobody else can give it to you — not the director, not another teacher, not a classmate's parent.
It is a short code that belongs to one class. If you type someone else's code you will end up in the wrong class.
1. Create your account
Step 1.1 — Open the registration page and choose Pupil.
Step 1.2 — Continue with Google.
If you already registered — or your teacher added you before you signed in for the first time — just log in instead. Do not make a second account: your grades are attached to the first one.
2. Join your class
Step 2.1 — Type the code. After signing in for the first time you are asked for it straight away.
Step 2.2 — The request sends itself. There is no button to press — as soon as you type the last character of the code it is sent.
Step 2.3 — Wait for your teacher to accept. You are not in the class until they do. It usually takes minutes, not days — but if it is taking long, tell your homeroom teacher, because the request is sitting in their inbox.
3. Check you are in
Open your dashboard. If you can see your subjects, you are in the class and everything else — homework, exams, your journal — will appear as your teachers create it.
What if the portal is mostly locked?
Some parts of EduRol are only open once your parent has paid for your place. Until then EduRol takes you straight to your journal and the rest of the menu is not there.
Two things are true here and worth knowing:
- Your school journal is always open. Your grades and absences are never locked — the school has to keep that record and you can always read it.
- The rest — exams, homework, career tracking, games — waits for the payment.
Ask your parent to follow the parent setup guide. Nothing on your side is broken and there is nothing for you to fix.
Troubleshooting
"The code does not work." Check you are on the join screen, not the login screen, and that you have the pupil code — the code given to parents is a different one.
"I joined the wrong class." Tell your homeroom teacher. They can move you; do not make a second account.
"My subjects list is empty." Your class has no subjects assigned yet. That is a director task, not something you or your teacher can fix from here.
"I finished 9th grade — do I need a new account?" No. When you join your new class with its code, you keep the same account and your school record stays with you. See graduation for what changes.
