Attendance register (condica de prezență)
Who this is for: teachers · Where: your dashboard, and every lesson on your Calendar.
What this page is for
The staff-room book, in the app. After a lesson you record that it happened and what you covered. That record is what your director reads, exports and files.
Everything the register needs is already on your timetable — the class, the date, the hour, the room. Signing adds the two things only you can say: that the lesson happened, and what was actually covered.
Signing your day
Your dashboard opens on today's lessons. Each one carries a chip: To sign or Signed.
Press Sign register and you get the day one lesson at a time. For each one:
- the topic is filled in from your plan — change it if the lesson went differently (a recapitulare, a test, a class discussion that ran long);
- add a note if there is something the director should know;
- press Sign this lesson, and you move straight to the next unsigned one.
The strip along the top shows the whole day, so you can jump to any lesson rather than stepping through in order.
Sign the whole day at once
Sign all signs every lesson on the day that is ready to be signed.
If some lessons could not be signed, you are told how many. Open them to see why. A "sign all" that quietly skipped two lessons would leave you believing your day was complete when it was not.
A lesson with no topic at all is never auto-signed — the register would then record that something happened without saying what. Open it and type one.
When two lessons share an hour
Parallel groups, or a lesson you are covering on top of your own, put two lessons in the same slot. Side by side they would each be too narrow to read, so the timeline draws them as round subject icons instead — one per lesson, with a green tick when it is signed and an amber mark when it is not.
Hover any of them (or tap, on a phone) to see the whole lesson: subject, time, class, room and its register state.
Signing from the calendar
You do not have to go through the dashboard. Open any lesson on your calendar and the Register panel is on its Overview tab, with the same topic box and the same rules.
Changing your mind
Withdraw signature takes a signature back. Sign it again with the corrected topic and you are done — there is no limit on how many times.
The withdrawn signature is not deleted. The register keeps a record that a signature existed and was taken back, and by whom.
When you cannot sign
The button is not always available, and it always says why:
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You can sign this once the lesson has started | The lesson is still in the future | Sign it after it has run |
| This period has been closed by the director | Your director has filed this month | Ask them to reopen it |
| Nobody taught this lesson | You were marked absent and no substitute was assigned | Nothing — there is nothing to sign |
The register is a record of what happened, not a plan. Signing Monday's whole week on Monday morning would make it neither.
Signing after the day has ended is allowed — you will often be teaching all afternoon and only get to it in the evening. Those entries are marked signed late so your director can see the pattern, but they are never refused.
When you covered for someone
If your director assigned you to cover a colleague's lesson, you are the one who signs it — the register records who stood in the room. The entry reads "covering for" and the colleague's name, on screen and on the printed page.
The teacher you covered for does not owe a signature for that lesson, and it does not appear in their list.
Events that are not lessons
Not everything in the register is a curriculum lesson. Use New event on the calendar for a recapitulare, a school trip, an assembly, a parents' meeting.
- Give it a name, a date and an hour.
- Pick a class and its pupils see the event in their own calendar, exactly like a lesson. Leave it empty and it is your own entry — still in your register, invisible to pupils.
Events are signed the same way as lessons.
Falling behind
If lessons from the past week are still unsigned, the Sign register button on your dashboard carries a count. Press it and step back through the days with the arrows beside the date.
Your dashboard shows today when you have lessons today, and otherwise the next teaching day — over a weekend or a holiday it shows you what is coming rather than going blank.
