What this page is for
A directory of the parents connected to your homeroom class, with the children each one is linked to.
It is read-only. You can look up who a pupil's parent is and how to contact them; you cannot add, edit or remove parents here.
A teacher without a homeroom class sees an empty list. This is not a fault — the page is the diriginte's roster, not a school-wide directory. Directors have the school-wide version.
Searching
The search box matches on either side of the link:
- the parent's own name or email, and
- the name of a child they are linked to.
That second one matters in practice. You usually know the pupil, not the parent, so typing the pupil's name is the fastest way to find who to contact.
What each row shows
The parent's name, their contact details, and every child of theirs in your homeroom class. Children in other classes are not listed — this page is scoped to the class you are responsible for.
Linking a parent to a pupil
That does not happen here. Parents link themselves using a child code, and requests are approved in Homeroom. This page only shows links that already exist and are active.
Rules and limits
- Read-only. No editing, no removal, no invitations.
- Your homeroom class only.
- Active links only — a revoked parent-pupil link is not shown.
- Search covers parent name, parent email, and child name.
Troubleshooting
"The list is empty." Either you are not a homeroom teacher, or no parent in your class has completed the link yet. Pending requests are in Homeroom.
"A pupil's parent is missing." Their link is not active. It may still be waiting for approval, or it was revoked.
"I need to contact a parent from another class." Ask your director — they have the school-wide directory.
"How do I message them?" Use Announcements for a written message, or Meetings for a call.
