What this page is for
The things pupils open: PDFs, links, videos — attached to a specific lesson so they appear in the right place at the right time.

Adding a material
Paste a link and the type is detected — YouTube, Vimeo, a PDF — with the title and thumbnail filled in where available. Or upload a file directly.
Add a cover image and a description to make it recognisable in a list.
Attaching
Attach a material to a lesson, an exam or a homework. The same material can be attached in several places without being duplicated.
Pupils see it on the lesson, and in their Materials page grouped by subject.
AI & import
A third tab holds two ways of filling your library faster than one link at a time.
Import bibliography takes a reading list pasted as plain text and pulls the URLs out of it, mixed in with prose or one per line. Preview URLs shows what it found before Save all to library commits them. No AI, no tokens.
AI material suggestions goes the other way: give it a curriculum unit, section title, subject and grade, and it proposes free public links for that section. This spends tokens, and the estimate — along with what is left of your quota and what would remain after the run — is shown on the button.
Suggestions come from a live web search and only URLs that actually resolve are kept, so this cannot produce a plausible-looking dead link. Paywalled and upload-farm sites (Scribd, Academia) are excluded, because a link your pupils cannot open is not a material.

Copy to mine takes an independent copy of something shared, which survives the original being unshared or deleted.
Rules and limits
- File links are time-limited. A copied URL stops working; reopen from the app.
- Uploads go to private storage — not a public bucket.
- Videos open in the native app on phones and tablets rather than an embedded player.
- PDFs remember the page you stopped on, per device.
Troubleshooting
"A pupil cannot see a material." It is not attached to a lesson of theirs, or it is still private to you.
"The PDF will not open." The signed link expired — reload the page.
"My global share has not appeared." It is waiting for director approval.
"The thumbnail is wrong." Detection uses the link's own metadata. Set a cover image to override it.
