Events and photos
Who this is for: pupils · Where: Events in your sidebar.
What this page is for
Everything your class did that was not a lesson — a trip, a voluntariat, an assembly, a competition — with the photos from it.
Events also show up in your Calendar in their own colour, and you get a notification when your teacher adds one.
Search the list by name, place or class, and sort it newest-first or oldest-first. Opening an event gives you its own page with every photo; tapping one on the Calendar gives you a short preview with a button through to it.
Adding your photos
Open an event and press Add photos.
- You can add up to 10 photos to each event.
- Each one can be up to 15 MB. They are made smaller automatically, so a photo straight off your phone is fine.
- Everyone in the class sees your name on the photos you post, and you see theirs. Post accordingly.
You can remove your own photos at any time.
Phones save the exact location into every picture. We delete that before storing it, so a photo of a school trip does not carry a map reference with it.
If something should not be there
Every photo has a Report button. Use it if something is posted that should not be — a photo of you that you do not want up, or anything unpleasant.
Your teacher is told and can take it down. Nobody is told that you reported it, including the person who posted it.
Keeping the photos
- Download on an event gives you that whole album as a ZIP.
- Collage lets you pick up to 10 photos, in the order you want, and turns them into one image you can save or print.
- Open a photo and use the download button to save just that one.
- Download all photos at the top of the page gives you every event you have been part of, in folders by school year.
When you graduate
When your class graduates you get an email telling you the exact date your class albums will be deleted — 30 days after graduation.
Use Download all photos before that date and you keep everything. After it, the photos are gone from the platform.
We remove them because a school should not keep pictures of you forever once you have left. Your grades, your report card and your transcript stay.
