The screen, explained
Views
Month, Week and Day. On a phone the calendar opens on Day and gives you a swipeable list rather than a squeezed grid — easier to read on a small screen.
A line across today's column marks the current time, so you can see at a glance what is next.
Colours and icons
Each kind of event has its own colour and its own icon, so colour is never the only signal:

Busy times
When events overlap, they collapse into small coloured dots rather than crushed boxes. Hover one (or tap it on a phone) to see the full card.
Where a day has more events than fit, a +N more opens the rest.
Substitutes and absences
If a teacher is away, the lesson says so. If somebody is covering, the substitute's name and photo are shown with a marker. If it is not covered, the lesson is marked as the teacher being absent.
Filtering
If you study several subjects, a filter narrows the calendar to one of them.
Common tasks
See what a lesson covers
Click it. The panel shows the subject, the topic, the teacher, the time, and any attached materials.
Jump to a date
Use the date picker in the toolbar rather than clicking through months.
Go from an exam to the exam
Click the exam event. From there you can open it once its window is open — see Exams.
Rules and limits
- Your calendar only. It is built from your class and your subjects.
- Holidays come from the school, and a multi-day holiday shows on every day it covers, not only the first.
- Deadlines shown are the real ones, enforced by the server.
- A changed lesson updates here, so the calendar is a better source than a screenshot taken last week.
Troubleshooting
"My calendar is empty." The class timetable may not be filled in yet. Ask your homeroom teacher.
"A subject appears twice in the filter." Tell your homeroom teacher — you are probably still on the roster of a class you left.
"An exam is not in my calendar." It has not been scheduled to your class yet, or it is manually started by the teacher. Check Exams.
"The week view is cramped on my phone." Use Day — on phones it is a list, which is much easier to read.
"Hovering does nothing on my phone." There is no hover on a touch screen. Tap the event to open it.
