What this page is for
It shows one task end to end: what the teacher asked for, what your child handed in, and what came back. It is the page to open before asking "how did this go?".
The screen, explained
What you see depends on where the task has got to.
Not started, or in progress
The task itself: the topic, the teacher's instructions, and any files the teacher attached (worksheets, texts, images), which you can open.
If the teacher published a marking rubric, it is shown here too — the criteria your child's work will be judged against. Reading it before your child starts is usually more useful than reading it afterwards.
Submitted, awaiting marking
Everything above, plus what your child submitted: their written answer and any files they uploaded. Nothing has been marked yet.
Marked
Everything above, plus the result: the mark, and the teacher's feedback. Where questions were marked individually, you can see them one by one.
Some tasks are structured — a list of questions with individual answers. Others are a topic with free comments, where the teacher describes the work ("exercises 4–7 from the textbook") and your child replies with text and files. Both appear on this page; the structured kind simply has more to show.
Rules and limits
- You cannot submit for your child. There is no upload control on the parent view, by design.
- Your child can attach up to 10 files, each up to 50 MB. The teacher can attach up to 3, up to 50 MB in total.
- Programs and installers are blocked for both of you —
.exe,.bat, scripts, macro-enabled Office files and similar. A file that looks like a document but ends in a program extension (homework.pdf.exe) is caught too. This protects everyone in the school, so it cannot be turned off. - Marks here are the homework marks. Whether one reaches the electronic journal is the teacher's decision.
- Not every task is marked by AI. Teachers can turn automatic marking off, in which case a result appears only once they have marked it themselves.
Troubleshooting
"There is no mark yet." Either the teacher has not marked it, or automatic marking is off for this task. Both are normal.
"My child says they submitted it, but I see nothing." Check the deadline has passed and the page shows submitted rather than in progress. Saved-but-not-submitted work stays with your child until they submit.
"I cannot open the teacher's file." The links are time-limited and refresh when you reload. Reload the page and try again.
"The mark seems wrong." Ask the teacher — see Notes. Marks cannot be changed from a parent account.
