What this page is for
Your account and — the part worth ten minutes — how the school reaches you.
Profile and security
Your name, photo, password and sign-in method, plus your personal data controls: downloading a copy of your data and requesting deletion.
Notifications
Choose what you are told about. The categories are:
Grades · Absences · Notes · Meetings · Homework · Exams · Announcements · Weekly summaries
Each can be switched off independently.
Subscription expiry and payment notices always arrive. They are not in the list above, so they cannot be switched off — a subscription lapsing silently would be worse than an unwanted message.
Telegram
The most useful setting on this page: alerts on your phone, without installing anything else.
- Press connect — you are given a 6-digit code
- Open the EduRol bot in Telegram
- Send it the code, or tap Start on the link
- Confirm back here
You can pick the bot's language, and change it later with /language. The choice
sticks — it is remembered per chat, not just for one message.
Teachers, pupils and directors use in-app and browser notifications instead. This is deliberate: parents are the ones who need a message to reach them while away from a computer.
Disconnect any time from this page; nothing else changes.
It is per school
If you have children at two schools, connect Telegram at each — the connection belongs to one school.
Rules and limits
- 8 notification categories, individually switchable.
- Billing notices cannot be disabled.
- Telegram is parents-only and per school.
- Browser push is per browser and per device.
- Changes are saved with the save bar — leaving the page with it open loses them.
Troubleshooting
"The bot says my code is invalid." Codes expire. Generate a fresh one and send it promptly. A bare 6-digit message works — you do not need a command.
"The bot replies in the wrong language."
Send /language and pick again. It is remembered from then on.
"I connected but get nothing." Check the categories above are not all off, and that you are still linked to a child. Also confirm you connected at the right school.
"I get notifications for the wrong child." Every notification names the child. If one is genuinely wrong, tell the school — the link may point at the wrong pupil.
"No browser notifications." They must be enabled here and allowed by the browser. If you dismissed the prompt, re-allow notifications for the site in your browser settings.
