What this page is for
Written messages sent to you by the school. Two kinds:
- from a teacher — your child's homeroom teacher, about their class
- from the director — about the whole school
Reading them
Filter by All, Teacher or Director. Tapping one opens it full-screen with the complete message; long messages are not truncated.
You cannot reply
There is no reply button, and this is deliberate — a broadcast to hundreds of families is not a conversation.
To discuss something, book a meeting with the teacher, or use the contact details your school gave you.
Where else they appear
The same message also arrives as a notification, and on Telegram if you have connected it — see Settings. Connecting Telegram is the difference between reading a message today and finding it next time you happen to open the portal.
If one disappears
A teacher or director can delete an announcement, which removes it from your inbox too. A Telegram message already delivered stays in your Telegram.
Rules and limits
- Read-only, no replies.
- Teacher announcements come from your child's homeroom teacher only, not from every subject teacher.
- You only receive them while you are linked to a pupil at that school.
- Deleted announcements disappear from the inbox.
Troubleshooting
"Another parent got one and I did not." They are sent to parents linked to a pupil in that class. If your link is not approved yet, you are not on the list — check Family.
"I get them late." Without Telegram or browser notifications they wait in the portal. Connect one in Settings.
"A message vanished." It was deleted by whoever sent it.
"Can I get them by email?" Not currently — in-app, browser push and Telegram are the channels.
