What this page is for​

Everything about one pupil, across every subject — not the single-subject slice a teacher sees.

Use it when a parent asks for a meeting, when deciding on a repeat year, or when a name comes up on the at-risk board.

Overview​

  • Grade trend over the year
  • Per-subject averages, each against the class average — the comparison is what makes it readable: 7.2 means little until you see the class is at 8.4
  • Attendance, split into excused and unexcused
  • Recent activity and conduct

Grades​

The full journal grid — every mark in every subject, exactly as recorded.

Report card​

The four-part report: attainment, effort, progress and target per subject, plus competence coverage, any language level, and the homeroom teacher's published comment.

The download button belongs to the pupil's and parent's own copies of the report card. The director's view is for reading, not issuing.

Career​

Appears only if the pupil has submitted a career plan — their shortlisted faculties, requirements and application checklist. Grade 12 only, and only once the pupil has finished the questionnaire. See Career tracking.

Access and consent​

You can open any pupil in your own school. The check is school membership, not a teaching link — a director's oversight is school-wide by design.

Where your school has enabled parental consent and none is on record, the profile is blocked with a notice, exactly as it is for teachers. Consent is given by the parent in their own portal, and staff cannot override it.

Rules and limits​

  • Directors only, and only for pupils in their own school.
  • All subjects — teachers see only their own.
  • Career tab is conditional on a submitted plan.
  • Consent gate applies where enabled.
  • Read-only. Marks are edited in the journal by the teacher who owns it.

Troubleshooting​

"The grades grid is empty." No journal entries for that pupil yet, or all their journals were archived.

"No career tab." The pupil has not submitted a plan, or is not in grade 12.

"The report card has gaps." Effort, target and language level are set by teachers per subject. Blanks mean they have not been filled in.

"A subject average differs from the class page." Check the academic year in view. A pupil who transferred mid-year has marks in two classes.
