What this page is for

Short competitive activities for revision — run live in the classroom, with the board on the projector and pupils answering on their own devices.

Game packs

A pack is the content: the questions, pairs, statements or cards a game runs on. Generate one with AI from a topic or curriculum section, or write it yourself in the editor.

The cost estimate is shown before generating.

Running a live session

  1. Create a session from a pack
  2. Pupils join
  3. You control the rounds from the teacher panel — start, reveal, next
  4. The board shows the current state; results appear as pupils answer
You control the pace, not a timer alone

Rounds advance when you say so. A round can auto-reveal after its countdown, but moving on is your call, so you can stop and explain.

Rules and limits

  • Generating a pack costs tokens. Running a session does not.
  • Scoring is decided on the server, so a pupil cannot award themselves points.
  • Answers are not sent to pupils' devices before the reveal.
  • Older packs may not be launchable. Packs made before the interactive engines existed can still be shown but not run; regenerate them as interactive.

Troubleshooting

"The pack will not launch." It is a legacy pack from before the interactive engines. Regenerate it.

"A pupil cannot join." Sessions are scoped to the class the pack was assigned to.

"Generation produced odd content." Regenerate; the prompt is stricter about shape than it once was. If a specific type keeps failing, tell us which.

"Scores look wrong." Speed bonuses are included. The panel shows the breakdown per round.
