Using it on a phone or tablet
There is no app to install from an app store. EduRol AI runs in your phone's web browser, at the same address: https://edurol.app.
Add it to your home screen
You can make it open like a normal app, with its own icon and no address bar.
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open https://edurol.app in Safari (this does not work in Chrome on iPhone).
- Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
Android (Chrome)
- Open https://edurol.app in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu (top right).
- Tap Add to Home screen (sometimes Install app).
- Tap Add.
It is a shortcut. It always shows the latest version, uses no meaningful storage, and you remove it by deleting the icon like any other.
What works well on a phone

What is more comfortable on a computer
These screens still work on a phone — nothing is blocked — but they show a lot of information at once, so a bigger screen is simply easier:

Nothing on a pupil's or parent's everyday list needs a computer.
Exams work on any device — phone, tablet or computer. Use whatever you have.
The anti-cheat protection works the same everywhere, so a phone is not treated as less trustworthy than a computer. Your teacher decides which protections are on for each exam.
A few practical things that have nothing to do with the device you chose:
- Make sure your battery will last, or plug in.
- Use a stable internet connection.
- Turn on Do not disturb so a call cannot interrupt you.
- If the exam is timed, the clock keeps running — so start when you are ready.
Things to know on a small screen
- The menu is behind the ☰ button in the top-left corner.
- Wide tables scroll sideways — swipe left and right inside the table itself. If a column seems missing, it is off to the side, not gone.
- Rotating to landscape shows noticeably more of any table.
Data use and battery
Normal browsing usage. The heaviest screens are those with pictures — materials, generated images, presentations.
Do heavy work (uploading materials, watching lesson videos, generating images) on Wi-Fi.
Common phone problems
