What this page is for​

Telling us what to build, and telling us what is broken. Two tabs, and they behave very differently.

Ideas​

Features and improvements go on a shared board.

  • Everyone in your role sees them — a teacher sees teachers' ideas.
  • They are anonymous. Your name is not attached to what you post.
  • Anyone can upvote, once per idea. Tap again to remove your vote.
  • The count is what tells us which ideas matter to the most people.

Write a title and a description. "What would this let you do that you cannot do today?" is the part that actually decides whether something gets built — an idea with a concrete situation behind it is far easier to act on than a one-line feature name.

Check whether your idea is already on the board before adding it. An existing idea with twenty votes carries far more weight than three near-identical entries with seven each.

Bugs​

Bug reports are private. Only you see your own.

Why bugs are not a shared board

A bug report often contains a pupil's name, a class, or a screenshot of real data. Publishing that to every teacher in the school would be a privacy problem, so the bugs tab shows you only what you reported.

A bug report takes:

  • What happened
  • Steps to reproduce it — the most useful field by a wide margin
  • Severity: low, medium or high

You can delete your own bug reports. There is no upvoting: a bug is either real or it is not, and that is not decided by votes.

What happens next​

Reports reach the development team. There is no status workflow visible here yet — you will not see "in progress" or "fixed" on your own entry.

Rules and limits​

  • Ideas are anonymous and shared within your role; bugs are private to you.
  • One upvote per person per idea, reversible.
  • Severity is low/medium/high, and applies to bugs only.
  • You can delete your own bug reports; ideas stay on the board.
  • A title is required.

Troubleshooting​

"My bug report vanished from the list." The bugs tab shows only your own. Confirm you are on the right tab and signed in as the same account.

"Someone else's bug is not visible." By design — see above.

"I cannot upvote my own idea." You can. If the button does nothing, the request failed — reload and retry.

"How do I report something urgent?" File it with severity high and include the reproduction steps. Steps are what make a bug fixable.

"I have an idea for a new STEM lab specifically." Use Suggest a lab on the Labs page — it routes to the same board, tagged so we know it is a lab request.
