Attendance register (condica de prezență)

What this page is for
The staff-room book. Teachers sign after each lesson to record that it was held and what was covered; this page is where you read that back, chase what is missing, close the month and export it.
The board
Pick a period — it opens on the current month — and you get one row per teacher.
Each row shows:
- how many of their lessons are signed, out of how many they owe;
- a strip of one mark per day, so a month reads at a glance;
- the percentage.
Click a teacher to expand every lesson in the period, with the topic they recorded, the class, the hour and the room.
What the marks mean
| Mark | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Every lesson that day is signed |
| Amber | Some lessons signed, some not |
| Red | Nothing signed that day |
| Grey | The teacher was absent and nobody covered |
A day where a teacher was away and no substitute was assigned is reported as absent, never as unsigned. Otherwise being ill would put a teacher on your chase-list.
The five cards above the list total the school: teachers, full days, partial days, unsigned days and absent days.
On the school calendar
School calendar → Schedule shows the same information against the timetable itself. Every lesson carries a ✓ or a !, and each teacher's name carries how much of that week they have signed for. The legend sits above the grid.
Covered lessons
When you assign a substitute, it is the substitute who signs — the register records who stood in the room, not who was timetabled. The line reads "covering for" and the timetabled teacher's name wherever it appears, including on the printed page.
This works for both kinds of cover: a substitute named on the whole absence, and a different substitute assigned per lesson.
Closing a period
Close this period locks the dates you have selected. Inside a closed period teachers can no longer sign, withdraw a signature, or add a new event.
A teacher can otherwise correct March in June. If the export is meant to be evidence, close the month once you have exported it.
Reopen this period unlocks it again when a genuine correction is needed. Reopening is your decision and yours alone — a teacher cannot do it.
While a period is closed, a banner tells everyone who closed it, so a teacher meeting a disabled button knows why and who to ask.
Exporting
Export PDF produces the register as an official document: your school's name, logo and city, the period, and one section per teacher listing every lesson with its date, hour, class, subject, topic, room and signature. A closed period is stamped as such. The last page is the per-teacher summary.
Export Excel produces the same register as a filterable sheet, plus a summary tab. Use it when you want to sort or pivot rather than print.
Both cover whatever period you have selected — a week, a month, or the whole year. Neither is limited to a closed period; you can export at any time.
A lesson nobody signed appears in the export marked Not signed. A register that silently dropped them would not be a record of anything.
